Glossary QlikView to Qlik Cloud Migration The Qlik Cloud Migration Center on the Qlik helpsite now provides tools to monitor, manage, and execute a migration from QlikView to Qlik Cloud Analytics. The Migration Center provides high-level guidance, along with sequencing, strategy, and best practices. You can freely utilize the new scripts and planning worksheets to execute your migration. Qlik Cloud Migration Center Setting up the Qlik Cloud migration tools New Qlik Data Gateway – Data Movement version Qlik Data Gateway – Data Movement 2022.11.70 enhances the driver installation utility and improves overall security, stability and performance by resolving several issues. Support for accessing target data platforms not exposed to the Internet This version adds support for performing ELT operations on target data platforms located in a private network (such as a VPC) that cannot be directly accessed from Qlik Cloud. Currently, supported is limited to SQL Server and Snowflake targets. Improved driver installation utility for SAP clients In previous versions, customers needed to run the “source arep_login.sh” command when installing SAP clients. From this version, it is no longer necessary to run this command. Resolved issues When a replication task on Data Movement gateway failed and recovered automatically, the recovered state would not be communicated to the Landing data asset in Qlik Cloud. End-to-end encryption for Data Movement gateway would not be enabled by default, and was controlled by runtime flags. To benefit from the improved stability and performance, customers are encouraged to upgrade at the earliest opportunity. For information about how to upgrade, see Upgrading the Data Movement gateway installation. Hoe kunnen we je ondersteunen?
